Here she is: my stunningly beautiful tulip bought in Amsterdam last summer.
At the height of 'Tulipmania' (1637), three bulbs of the fabled 'Semper Augustus' sold for 10.000 florins, more than the price of a large canal house in the centre of Amsterdam.
